Jack loves presents, especially interesting, engaging ones that present as much of an opportunity to learn as to laugh.
That said, he pretty much already has everything so he gets excited about causes he's passionate about. He's usually active in the Terry Fox Run, but at this time of year, he's skipping for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Driving Things
Hot Wheels, booster elements and loops are in particular demand right now.
Robots
Space robots, in particular the kind that transform are fascinating and almost as appealing as soft, furry things of which he has way too many.
Science Stuff
Growing crystals are of particular interest, because they're.. crystals and they grow and they're multicoloured!
Tech Stuff
The Hot Wheels Video Racer camera car is a pretty cool new thing that must be explored! (if you see this, Jack doesn't yet have one)
Computer stuff
A computer controlled robot arm would be a cool learning toy to make all the ancient computers in the basement useful again.
Astronomy stuff
Ahh.. an orrery would be cool, or even a Mova Globe (Jack has expensive taste!)
There you have it! Now that your head is spinning or you're still looking for other things, engaging books, dinosaurs, trains, DVDs for the drive to Florida, remote controlled things or just plain old Hot Wheels track segments will do just fine. :)
